DESCRIPTION:

The Social Skills Rating Scale(SSRS) is a 41-item self-report inventory developed by Ms. Manjeet Kumari. It comprises five sub-scales, i.e., Self-Control, Responsibility, Assertion, Cooperation and Empathy. The SSRS assesses an adolescent's social skills through these five dimensions and may indicate deficits in their interactions with their social environment in order to implement the most appropriate intervention. In addition, it may be utilized to to monitor the outcomes of any social skills training program.
